We have access to high end analytical instrumentation for staffed Organic and Nutrien Analytical Laboratory (OANL) for nutrient and organic contaminant analysis. This facility inudes: Discrete Analyzers for Nutrients, TOC Analyzer, Horba Aqualab Automated Spectroflourometer, GC-ECD, GC-MSD and wet chemistry lab for sample extractions. Through GLIER central facilities we also have access to Environmental Genomics with next-gen sequencer capability and real time PCR, central facilities associated with trace metals, stable isotopes analysis and GIS. Our field work is supported by the Monarch Research Vessel an 18’ aluminum vessel with two 90 HP outboard engines.
